Jessy, was going through my recipe pages and realized I never answered this question! By now you've probably figured it out ;) What kind of waffle maker is it? So cool you can make cones! Although, I suspect these waffles would get soggy with the addition of ice cream. Sugar is probably needed to make them crunchy.

Susan, I've been using this recipe to make pancakes for a while now and I love it! I've never even tried waffles let alone made them, but today I bought a waffle maker and I hope to make these soon. How many waffles does it make? My waffle maker can also be used to make ice cream scones -.do you think it would work with this batter?

Awesome! I added just a bit more oatmeal as I prefer thicker batter/pancakes. My fussy 10 yr old who will eat healthy if need be, but prefers the taste of less-healthy food said these taste better than regular pancakes! I plan to make batches on the weekend and freeze for quick reheating on hectic school mornings! Thx!

Just to let you know that I've made the pancakes - success! I ate them with banana pieces and a bit of peanut butter. I still can't believe I've actually made pancakes without using flour. :O Thanks again for sharing this with us! :)

Thanks a lot for your reply and the welcome! I'm so glad I discovered the foodie/health community, now I can't stop checking the blogs out. :) So you actually use volume of the cup (ml) to measure, you don't convert it to grams, right?

Welcome to the foodie community Jessy!! First, I know one cup is 250 ml if that helps at all. I have a lot of measuring cups with both methods of measurement. Secondly, this is a recipe for one so the nutrition info is for the whole recipe. They don't turn out quite as fluffy as regular pancakes, but I'm so used to them now I actually like them better!

Hey! I just created a wordpress account yesterday to be able to get involved more with the ''foodie'' blogging community a bit more. I've stumbled upon your blog and this recipe a while ago and got super excited when I realized that even though the recipe includes the word protein it doesn't include any protein powder or other ''unusual'' stuff, lol. I'll be making these tomorrow and I can't wait! Although I must say I'm a bit nervous, as being European I've never used a recipe that uses cup as measuring system and our pancakes (crêpes) are a bit different. By the way, is the nutrition data you've given above calculated for the whole thing? Thanks for sharing this recipe. :)
