Welcome!
My name is Susan, I'm a 20-something living in Atlantic Canada and this is my blog about... me. I used to blog about food and fitness, but that all changed in June 2011 when I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. After six months of chemotherapy, I was declared cancer-free in January 2012. I now write about anything and everything as I stumble through my post-cancer world. I'm a trained journalist currently working as a writer/researcher. I also have a background in personal fitness training and nutrition. Welcome to my piece of the internet!

This is a great post – sometimes it’s easy to feel like it;s too late to change, or to not fully appreciate what you have.
Consider this post starred =)
So inspiring and such a perfect way to start my day. Especially when I’m up at 6:20am in the middle of summer to spend a day watching my bro compete in the national gaelic football tournament. Definitely need a reminder to make the most of each day!
Basically, you’re the best,
Nicole G
Awesome post!!! I stand by each one of those statements. I love how you say the things that make us feel worthless are usually petty. So true.

One of my favorite posts! # 5 has really worked for me: Trust the Process. The time in my life when I felt most things were working as they should was when I trusted the process. You’re right, because of this, I ended up where I should be.
“Know that a day spent miserable is a day wasted” love this!!
This is exactly what I needed today! Thank you!
87 year g-ma doing yoga, that is amazing! my grandmother is 86 and exercises every single day! (mostly waking and stretching) but I love that she is so active and healthy!! I wish I could meet you in person you have such a positive energy that I love! i hope to meet you one day :)
I perhaps naively think that I’ll get to meet all my bloggie friends someday – which includes you!! :)

Love this. and I esp love the last one and the latin phrase. I might make that my motto as well :).
Love it! My great grandmother went back to school when she was in her 80s! I’m learning the mistake thing now.. I usually take the safe way out of things so I don’t have too many things that I would call mistakes. Although recently I did some pretty stupid things..but I’ve definitely learned from them!
